Shawl – gradient warp

Handspun, hand-dyed, handwoven. Utterly unique, rich, heavy, stunningly eye-catching shawls.

Created by winding off a shawl-length warp of undyed handspun, then applying a gradient dye using a range (or not) of different colours. This is then threaded onto the loom preserving the colour sequence, and woven with a plain knitting yarn. Finished with a simple hemstitch and a long fringe.

1.5m long (excluding fringe) by 40cm wide. Minor variations may occur
